ABOUT COACH KAMMMM
Born and raised in the Philippines. Kamille Manalo’s family moved from Manila to Garfield, New Jersey in search of a better life. Aspiring to be a professional dancer, Kamille then moved to California where she would search for opportunities to live her dream. Her hard worked paid off as she earned a spot as part of the Miami Heat dance squad. A few years later, Kamille experienced the unfortunate trial of domestic violence at the age of 22. This moment caused her to enter the Ace of Spades Boxing Club, and learned how to defend herself.
After overcoming her traumatic experience through the art of boxing, Kamille began her coaching career through teaching women’s classes at the Ontario Boxing Club. The feeling of helping women find empowerment in themselves brought great joy for Kamille. That passion then moved into inspiring young children, to then working and training with notable fighters such as: Gabe Rosado, Andre Ewell, Maricela Cornejo, Corey Calliet, and Denis Doughlin.
Word began to spread about Kamille’s coaching abilities and before she knew it, the world started referring her as “The People’s Coach”. One by one, fighters and clients would come into boxing gyms in search of this public figure, to which Kamille would say, “ Please, call me Coach Kammmm”. Her reputation caught the ears of news outlets and sports brands such as: Fox 11, Spectrum News 1, BOXRAW, and Super Rare Fight Goods.
In 2022, professional boxer Brandon “The Cannon" Adams brought the People’s Coach into his team as one of his trainers. Eventually the duo would start a business as part-owners and coaches at Cannonnation Boxing Gym, which launched in October 2022 in Santa Fe Springs, California. Coach Kammmm’s desire is to change the game of boxing training. After hearing criticism of “you can’t train fighters and regular people at the same time”, she set on a mission to prove that, yes, you can in fact do both, after all, she’s The People’s Coach, the best woman in the business.
